Jim (1918-1964) was an artist of fetish and bondage comics and illustrations. He illustrated many books and serials sold by mail-order through Irving Klaw’s Nutrix company in the 1950s. Jim specialized in drawing wasp-waisted women in latex.
The real identity of the artist has always remained a mystery, even to Klaw, but one collector knew that the artist was originally from Geneva. The artist was a technical draftsman for a design firm, and he has also worked under the pen name Gil. The artist died on a vacation trip in 1964.

Volume 1
Harriet and Nancy were on an exploring trip and their curiosity was piqued when their native guides warned them to stay far away from a village named Bondageville, as many tourists had disappeared there, never to be seen again after entering Bondageville. Both girls had been bored with their exploration trip so far and for a possible exciting adventure, they decided to venture into this “taboo” village to find out why tourists were forbidden to visit it.
To show their friendliness, the girls left their guns with their guide, who deserted them in terror near the entrance to Bondageville. A sign was posted there warning all trespassers that they would be punished severely. The daring explorers ignored this sign and entered the village.
They were amazed upon entering this village to see that the architecture of the buildings was of medieval design, as if transplanted from the fifteenth century. Astonished at the ancient and bizarre construction of the massive castle with its huge towers which they saw in the center of the village, Harriet took out her camera to photograph the scene when the camera was abruptly knocked out of her hands. Greatly infuriated by this surprise attack, Harriet swung around to face the party who had prevented her from snapping pictures. She saw two girls with long pony hair pigtails who were wearing leg manacles and who had a piece of leather with an expanding chain band wrapped across their mouths to form a gag.
These two girls in chains grasped one of Harriet’s hands and began bending it behind her back with long pieces of metal chain. Harriet tried to struggle but her efforts were futile against the iron chains on her wrists. Harriet’s captors forced her to come along with them, not uttering a word because of the gags in their mouths, but their grips on her arms were like steel and they came within an inch of breaking the hapless explorer’s arms.
Unwillingly, Harriet accompanied her silent captors with Nancy following in the rear, held by two other stalwart amazon type girls, also in chain bondage. The procession halted before a huge iron gate in front of the massive castle. At a signal from a guard inside the gate, three captive girls, clad in black leather discipline helmets and chained to a large round pillar revolving slowly, pulled up the iron gate. It was a terrific strain on the arms and backs of these unfortunate girls chained to the pillar.
These three girls had to exert all their energy to lift this gate, whose chains worked similar to a winch. Each of the girls chained to the pillar had leg manacles on, with long chain links, giving enough play to take short steps. They all had to pull in unison in order to make the gate go up. Their stern-faced guard had a whip coiled at her waist to enforce her commands, should any captive dare to disobey her.
