Eric Stanton was the pseudonym used by John Bee Savage (1926-1999) when creating his bondage and fetish cartoons. He was born Ernest Stanzoni into a family of Russian origins in New York City. He studied at the School of Visual Arts and made his debut as an illustrator and comic artist in 1947 with Irving Klaw, a publisher of sadomasochistic material.

Episode 1

I was out of work with my funds running very low and my landlady refused to wait any longer for her room rent when I spied an advertisement in the classified help wanted section of the newspaper. The advertisement read as follows:

EARN BIG PAY AS YOU LEARN! BECOME A HIGHLY PAID MAID! Sleeping-in quarters furnished free. Complete course takes 6 weeks. We place you in guaranteed large salary position if qualified.”FIFI’S SCHOOL FOR MAIDS—68 “X” Avenue City

This looked like just the thing I needed to straighten out my financial mess, and I hurried over to the address given in the advertisement.

There I was questioned at great length as to my qualifications, former employment, and if I was single, by a secretary before being ushered into Fifi’s office. In short time, Fifi found out about my low funds and then told me about the $100.00 per week starting salary for doing maid service work. The news of this mighty fine salary made me most eager to enroll, and I didn’t want to pass up this opportunity.

Fifi was a tall, domineering type girl with fairly pretty features and whose amazonic physique seemed to exude from the black satin dress, long shoulder-length kid gloves and high-heeled laced knee boots she wore. From her narrow pulled in waistline it seemed that she was wearing a boned, tightly-laced corset that flattened out her hips.

“Miss Jones,” Fifi said to me, “our training course for maids is a most unusual and stringent one and I warn you that it will not be an easy one. We pay you a nice salary while you are undergoing training and one of the first lessons is that you obey every order given to you, no matter how strange or different it may sound to you if it is given to you by your mistress or supervisors.

“That’s the reason you were given that agreement to sign which puts you completely in our hands for the next six weeks. Since one of the main requisites of being a good maid is to serve well but silently, we have devised a special system of costumes and gags which will help you in your endeavors to serve your mistress well.”

I went to my room where girl attired in a short satin dress, wearing elbow-length gloves and knee boots helped me put on a pair of black leather thigh-length boots, a corset that was so tight I thought that it would cut me in two because Yvette laced it up so tight in the back; then a sheath dress was pulled over the corset. This dress reached about three inches above my knees. My wrists were crossed in front of me and bound with cord that passed about my elbows which pulled them back as closely as they would permit. Then she made me stand in a corner like a bad girl because I disobeyed, inadvertently, one of her orders.”
