Jean Harloe in “Hot Nuts”

Jean Harlow was the leading sex symbol of the early 1930s and one of the defining figures of the pre-Code era of American cinema. Often nicknamed the “Blonde Bombshell” and the “Platinum Blonde“, Harlow was popular for her femme fatale screen persona.

This twenty-four page Tijuana Bible seems to show a treatment for a film with a sexually voracious main character named “Susie.” Harloe (or Harlow) would have been the stuff of dreams in the title role.
