Illustrations for Fanny Hill by Paul-Émile Bécat – In 1942, Bécat was commissioned to produce illustrations for a new edition of the classic. It contained ten of Bécat’s drypoint etchings.

Illustrations for Fanny Hill – In 1908, Paul Avril was commissioned to illustrate a new French edition of the classic Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure by John Cleland.

Green Girls by Donewell – A young lady is sent to an all female boarding school as a punishment for her indiscretions.

Birch in the Boudoir is the tale of two separated lovers, Charlie and Elizabeth. The pair keep each other up to date in a series of letters. Charlie finds work as teacher and disciplinarian in a house for wayward girls. Elizabeth replies back with her stories of visiting the harem of a pasha in the Middle East.

Astrid Cane is the story of a young lady in the midst of self, and sexual, discovery. She is introduced into the ‘English Vice’ and the delights of flagellation by an older woman, and encounters various submissive gentlemen and both dominant and submissive ladies, and their maids and male servants.
