Fuller Brush men were traveling salesmen that went from town to town and door to door within their sales territories. They would bring a suitcase filled with different brushes and household utensils, and proceed to show their wares to the “Lady of the House.” No doubt there were numerous adventures….

The “Fuller Brush Man” series is generally ascribed to an artist known as “Mr. Prolific.”
