Ella Cinders in “Tsk-Tsk” – an eight page Tijuana Bible from the 1930s.

Ella answers a knock at the door, opens it and finds a door-to-door salesman there. She doesn’t really need any products but she asks the salesman to come in because she might think of “something.”

Ella Cinders was a cartoon character that ran in U.S. newspapers from 1925 to 1961. Ella derived her name from Cinderella and the ongoing story was built on the Cinderella motif.
