She Saw the World’s Fair – and how!
About 206,000 visitors attended the Opening Day of the 1939 New York World’s Fair. Many countries around the world participated in it, and over 44 million people attended its exhibits during its two seasons. It was the first exposition to be based on the future, with an opening slogan of “Dawn of a New Day”, and it allowed all visitors to experience the theme, “Building the World of Tomorrow.”
The young lady in this Tijuana Bible was just one of those 44 million visitors.
