Illustrations for Gamiani by André Collot

André Collot (1897–1976) was a very prolific book illustrator, credited with about a hundred books illustrated in his lifetime. Luckily for us, some of them, such as Gamiani were erotic works. Gamiani is one of the most frequently illustrated of French erotic novels and thanks to a private commission, Collot gave us his version in 1933. The Collot-illustrated edition was limited to a very small number “for subscribers only.”
